How it works
A folder in, tight crops out
Exported artwork often comes with empty space around it: icons with padding, stickers with room for a shadow, logos on a big canvas. Ghost Crop finds the real edges of every image and trims the rest.
- Drop in a folderOr single images. Every PNG inside is found, subfolders included.
- See every cropA dashed outline shows what's kept, with the size before and after.
- Set the toleranceSlide it up to trim soft shadows and glows as well.
- Hide the restImages with nothing to trim can be tucked out of the way.
- SaveCrop them all over the originals, or export copies to a new folder.

The checkerboard is the transparent space. Ghost Crop keeps the picture exactly as it was and trims the canvas to fit it, here with the tolerance turned up so the soft shadow goes too.

Small app, saves a lot of fiddling

- Opacity toleranceSet how see-through a pixel has to be to count as empty, and trim away faint shadows, glows and stray specks.
- Hide what can't be croppedImages with no transparent edges are marked, and one click hides them from view.
- Save over, or save copiesCrop everything in place, or export the trimmed images to another folder and keep the originals. One at a time works too.
- Full resolutionOnly the empty edges are removed. The picture keeps every pixel, at its original resolution, saved as a PNG.
